DoiGo is a food delivery service in Bogura, Bangladesh, run together with FOOD BASKET. This policy covers the DoiGo website and the DoiGo app for Android.
What we collect
- Your account: your name and mobile number. Your password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form; nobody at DoiGo can read it. The same account works on DoiGo and the FOOD BASKET shop.
- SMS codes: when you make an account or reset your password, we send a one-time code to your mobile number through an SMS company. We keep a record that a code was sent, not the code itself.
- Your orders: the restaurant, the food, the price, your delivery area, address, nearby landmark and any note you write, with the times the order was placed, cooked, picked up and delivered.
- On your phone: the app keeps your cart and the last address you typed on your own device, so you don't have to type them again.
DoiGo does not use your phone's location, contacts, camera or files. There are no ads and no advertising trackers.
Who sees your details
- The restaurant sees your order, your delivery area and the note for the kitchen. It does not see your phone number or address.
- The rider who accepts your delivery sees your name, mobile number, area, address and landmark, only to bring the food and call you if needed.
- The DoiGo and FOOD BASKET office sees orders to run the service and help you.
We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else, except the SMS company that delivers your code, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Orders are kept as long as needed for accounts and to help with problems. You can ask us to delete your account and order history at any time; call or message us from the number on your account.
Payments
You pay in cash to the rider. DoiGo does not collect card or mobile-banking details.
Children
DoiGo is for people old enough to order and pay for food themselves. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
